Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the NYC Catering Service website (nycateringservice.com) and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site and our services.

Services

NYC Catering Service provides professional catering services throughout New York City, Westchester County, and Long Island. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Corporate event catering
  • Private event catering
  • Wedding catering
  • Personal chef services
  • Bachelorette party catering
  • Cocktail party catering

All services are subject to availability and require advance booking. Service availability may vary based on date, location, and event size.

Booking and Reservations

Reservation Process

To book our services:

  • Contact us through our website, phone, or email
  • Provide event details including date, time, location, number of guests, and dietary requirements
  • Receive a customized quote
  • Confirm your booking with a signed contract and deposit

Deposits and Payments

A deposit is typically required to secure your event date. Final payment is due according to the terms specified in your service contract. Payment methods accepted include cash, check, and major credit cards.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

Client Cancellations

  • 30+ days before event: Full refund of deposit, minus any non-refundable expenses already incurred
  • 14-29 days before event: 50% of deposit refunded
  • Less than 14 days before event: Deposit is non-refundable

Our Cancellations

In the unlikely event that we must cancel your event due to circumstances beyond our control (including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or chef unavailability), we will provide a full refund of all payments made or work with you to reschedule at no additional charge.

Menu Changes and Modifications

Menu changes and modifications may be accommodated based on availability and timing. Changes requested less than 7 days before the event may be subject to additional fees. Final guest count and menu selections must be confirmed at least 7 days before your event date.

Dietary Restrictions and Allergies

We accommodate various dietary restrictions including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher-style, halal, and other special dietary needs. It is the client's responsibility to inform us of all dietary restrictions and allergies at least 14 days before the event. While we take every precaution, we cannot guarantee that our kitchen is completely free of allergens.

Liability and Insurance

NYC Catering Service maintains appropriate liability insurance. We are not responsible for damage to client property unless caused by our negligence. Clients are responsible for ensuring that event venues are safe and accessible for our staff and equipment.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of NYC Catering Service or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from this content without our express written permission.

User Conduct

When using our website and services, you agree not to:

  • Use our services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Violate any laws in your jurisdiction
  • Transmit any viruses, malware, or harmful code
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt our services

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NYC Catering Service shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of our services.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless NYC Catering Service, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of our services or violation of these Terms of Service.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of New York.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
